With the award of funds from the Scottish Arts Council's Lottery Audience Development Department, Hebrides Ensemble is performing a mini series of three RUSH HOUR concerts in Edinburgh in May. The concerts will feature a typically unorthodox mix of Brahms' three piano quartets alongside music for piano quartet by Judith Weir and Martin Butler. Lasting for about an hour and starting at 6pm the RUSH HOUR series is designed to meet the needs of todays’ modern audience.

Come straight from work and relax for an hour in the informal surroundings of St Marks. Sit back and listen to extraordinary music performed by the outstanding musicians of the Hebrides Ensemble.
