Hebrides Ensemble make their Wigmore Hall debut by celebrating the 100th anniversary of the births of both Olivier Messiaen and Elliott Carter, two of the most admired composers of the twentieth century. tells the story of Saint Magnus as told by George Mackay Brown. Two of
Scotland's finest artists link the martyrdom of Orkney's saint with
the present day, to show through music and high drama how evil can
destroy good people but leave goodness itself untouched.
